New House....New Furniture!

We decided to use some of our tax refund to buy bedroom furniture, something we had never done before. It looked a lot smaller in the showroom but luckily it all still fit in our room. To let you know just how big it is, Joshua just climbed into the bottom drawer of the chest of drawers without us knowing and somehow he was able to close the drawer while inside it. All of a sudden I heard him yelling and crying for help and we couldn't find him for a few seconds. He is probably traumatized for life now!

We're Back

It has been a long time since we have posted but I think I finally caught us up to date. Things were very crazy here the last month and a half, but I think it is finally settling down. So here are just a few of the things that have happened lately.

The New Addition to Our Family

Yes, it is true. I gave in. But not without some stipulations. Owning our own house means we can finally have a family pet. I agreed to a cat because they can pretty much take care of themselves. Nicole can do the rest. She also had to be declawed. She is 4 months old and a very sweet little kitty. Nicole named her Sunshine.

Four Months Old

Jarom is getting bigger (and cuter) every day. He is now 4 months old and weighs 14 lbs. He is rolling over and starting to eat baby food. I can tell he can't wait to start crawling. He is growing up way too fast!

Freezing Fog

On our new mailbox!

Christmas at our New Home

We had our final county inspection and received the keys to our new house on Christmas Eve. We decided to camp out just for Christmas. The kids all slept in sleeping bags and we tried to sleep on an air mattress until it went flat half way through the night. Santa even found us at our new address! It will always be a Christmas to remember.
Nicole loves the bathrobe grandma sent.

This was the only thing Jacob asked for that wasn't star wars related.

But the boys still got lots of Star wars.

It was Jarom's first Christmas. Here he is with the bear grandma sent.

Nicole got her favorite movie, Phantom of the Opera.

Action shot!

Joshua loves playing with the "Good Guys".

Our tree looks a lot smaller in the new house.

Mom, Dad said you wanted to see our fridge so here you go! This is the best shot I have.

Somewhere in between finishing the house and everything else that was going on we found time to make a gingerbread train. We really did have a great Christmas this year!
