Memorial Day

I was feeling patriotic and decided that everyone needed to wear red, white and blue this year, including Joseph and myself. We spent the day at the horticulture gardens and the kids had a lot of fun.

He didn't know what he was doing!

Nicole and I made patriotic cupcakes and gave them away to the neighbors.

Mother's Day

Joseph bought me a bleeding heart plant for the yard. I love bleeding hearts!
Joshua made me a card with his hand print that says "From your little hand-ful". It is so true! Nicole made this hand soap bottle for me at school. It's called "My Mother's Hands". Too pretty!

I was really sick on Easter this year so I didn't get any pictures like I usually do, so I decided today was a good day to do that.

Before the Sod

Here are some pictures of the sod and yard before it was laid. I'll take some of the after tomorrow. That is ten pallets of sod or 5000 square feet which doesn't go as far as you would think.

Nicole's School Program

Nicole's program was on Idaho History. She was an early Mormon settler and she did a square dance. If you can't see her she is the shortest one in the group with the bonnets. It was really cute and she did a great job! For the final song they had students draw pictures to go along with the lyrics. Nicole's pictures was one chosen to represent the words "silver and gold in the sunlight blaze."

Really Daddy? Ice cream?

Have we mentioned that Jarom likes to eat? Joseph didn't make things any better by giving him Chocolate Ice cream!
